The Pre-licensing course can be taken either in a classroom environment or via distance learning/virtual class. If you opt for the classroom option, you will receive a MV-278 Prelicensing Certificate of Completion. All courses have the same syllabus, regardless of the version you take. The provider will automatically report your completion to the DMV once you have successfully completed your course.
