Three Wheeled Buggies

If you're seeking a buggy to run around in or a nifty stroller to tackle the neighborhood, three-wheeled buggies are great for mobility. Their compact design makes it easy to maneuver, even in tight places.

If you're looking for a smooth ride on your pram, choose models with 360deg front wheels that swivel. They are, however, susceptible, to punctures. Make sure you have an repair kit.

Figures have just been released that show that the three-wheeled vehicle - that noughties symbol of more money than sense - is in steep decline. Four-wheelers are replacing them, and are more flexible and simple to drive and look fashionable.

Its tyres, which are inflated and require to be pumped up occasionally and have a suspension built-in. This was very comfortable for my kids.

Another thing to take into consideration is the size and shape. The seat should be large enough for your child to feel at ease and to lie down. Some three-wheel buggies offer a full lie-flat option while others allow an adult facing one.

Easy to manoeuvre

One of the primary benefits to a three wheel buggy is that it is much easier to maneuver particularly with a child on the way. The way they are constructed means that the front wheels turn on a dime and are incredibly maneuverable and are ideal for difficult terrain such as parks, cobbles, bumpy pavements and dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tested a 3 wheel push chair wheeler with her infant and toddler and wrote: "The Terrain was a delight to maneuver on the terrain and the swivel front wheel being particularly helpful. I was also impressed with the way it handled kerbs with the hand-operated break. I found it to be extremely steady when I was driving downhill or over uneven terrain."

The only drawback to this great maneuverability, is that the larger wheels of a 3 wheel buggy can sometimes make it difficult to fit into tight spaces. This is something to keep in mind when your home is one of the cities. If this is a concern then a 4-wheeler might be a better option for you.
